We are delighted to announce the relaunch of the official South Devon Hunt Supporters Club, a community united by our shared passion for our wonderful Hounds and beautiful Country. The purpose of the SDHSC is to raise funds towards the running of the Hunt in order to keep hunting as inclusive and affordable as possible for the enjoyment of generations to come. It also contributes to the maintenance of the South Devon Hunt Country, and gives to local charitable causes.
The SDHSC provides an opportunity for those unable to regularly follow Hounds to show their support nonetheless. However, Subscribers and regular visitors to the Hunt are also more than welcome to join the Supporters Club if they wish.
Membership costs just £5 per month, or £1000 for Lifetime Membership.
Members will receive a badge, car sticker and regular communication from the Hunt, including details of our autumn trail hunting and year-round social and fundraising events.
The South Devon Hunt Supporters Club already organises a number of great events under the auspices and for the general benefit of the South Devon Hunt, and is always looking for willing volunteers to join its team of enthusiastic fundraisers. Joining the SDHSC does not oblige you to volunteer your time, nor are you obliged to join SDHSC in order to volunteer! However, all events must be approved by the South Devon Hunt Committee in order to be covered by the Hunt’s insurance policies. SDHSC Members are not entitled to vote at General Meetings of the South Devon Hunt unless also members of the Hunt itself. SDHSC Members must pay the full correct amount if they wish to participate in trail hunting activities.
