The Best View on Dartmoor - Dr Blackhall's Drive

As of 1st May, the mastership of the South Devon Hunt has changed: the new masters are Louise Watson, Stephen Froy, John Lambert and Ian Pearse. Ian Pearse will hunt hounds with the assistance of his new kennel huntsman Charlie Watts. The subscribers and supporters wish the whole team well and look forward to this new season with anticipation.

Hunt events are planned as follows:

Saturday 28 May - Point to Point also at Ideford Arch - Details nearer the time - First Race 2 pm, £20 per car (£10 individual in car), Hot Food all day. A great day with some good racing, no walk-overs and the hot food went down a treat. Many thanks to all those who made the day a success.

Friday 27 May - Summer Ball in the Marquee at Ideford Arch. Tickets £30, dinner and dancing from 7.30 pm. Dancing to "Limited Company" - the band that played at the Stover Ball in October. Again this was a huge success with a full house, superb food produced by Mary Hunt, Hilary Harvey and their team of helpers.
