SOUTH DEVON HUNT


The season is over now, but  watch this space for news of summer rides...and any other events run by and for the Hunt

The second summer ride will be on 29 June - see below.
FARM VISITS to farms in the South Devon Country and other parts of the Moor will be happening this summer through the Dartmoor Hill Farm Project - see the links page for a link to Dartmoor  National Park Authority and on to news of these visits.  The Hunt should support these farmers who welcome us on to their land.  Pizwell Farm, in our country, is open on 1st June.

The next ride is on 29 June.  Again I must ask you to book as we must keep numbers under 20.  We have a few for this ride already and we plan to ride in the Widecombe/Manaton area.  Ring 01364 631287 to book, or e-mail  (see contacts page).  Cost £10 for a 3 hour ride, bring a sandwich if you get hungry at lunchtime as we shall meet again at 11.00 am.

  Rides  need to be booked in advance and will be limited to twenty participants as  that puts less pressure on the Moor and we do not have to consult the Park Authorities for permission.
