Hunter Trials over this height 2’0” max

Class 2 2’ NOVICE PAIRS: 2’0” max.

Class 3 NOVICE: 2'6'' approx.

Class 4 NOVICE PAIRS: 2'6'' approx.

Class 5 INTERMEDIATE: 2'9'' approx.

Class 6 INTERMEDIATE PAIRS: 2'9'' approx.

Class 7 OPEN: 3'3" approx.

There will be a timed section for each class which will decide placings in the event of equal faults.
The cross country course is in a spectacular setting on Dartmoor and is a well established course with an excellent variety of fences.

ROSETTES: To 6th place in each class. CASH PRIZES: 1st - £15 2nd - £10 3rd - £5 each class
TROPHIES for classes 3, 5 & 7. .

ENTRY FEE: Individual classes - £12.00 Entries on field £2.00 extra
Pairs classes: £16.00 per pair. no extra fee on the day
Entry fee includes first aid cover
Paper numbers will be supplied for BHS style no. bibs. Bibs for sale & hire (£10 returnable).

Rules:
The event will be held under BHS rules for hunter trials. The following rules will also apply:
1. ALL competitors must wear an approved hat to current British standard, with chin strap correctly fastened when mounted.
2. ALL must wear a body protector. No riding in muckers.
3. Tack will be checked for safety & welfare.
4. No horse/ pony can be entered in more than 3 classes and must be 4 years old or over.
5. Medical arm bands must be worn. Medical forms will be available from secretary on the day at no cost if you do not have one.
